- Successfully completed studies in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Information-oriented Business Administration/ Economics
- Fluent English skills (comfortable in working and presenting in English, other languages are an advantage)
- Strong interest in Data topics (e.g.: Data Governance, Data Mining, Data Quality and Data Modelling)
- Excellent knowledge and experience in SQL and Python
- A good understanding of data structures in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
- Experience with MS SQL server, Azure
- Knowledge in data pipelines and ETL processes, ETL jobs, data warehouses/lakes, data modelling, schema design, ideally for larger volumes of data
- Celonis Data Engineer and Analyst certification

As a Trainee in Data Science & Automation, you will be part of the PI Digitalization & Automation team (part of the Global Business Services business group) and work together with other Data Scientists and Engineers. You will have the opportunity to learn on-the-job from day one and support different activities within data analytics and information systems.
Throughout the time, you will learn and support the process of enhancing the capabilities in the Semantic Data Domain, always in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and Senior Data Scientists. You will support the enabling of high-value use cases creation to drive value creation for our internal customers. You will perform reverse engineering based on SAP data and perform data transformations to build and validate the semantic data model.
